The Myers Davis Career-to-Work Study summer class visits Batesville City Hall to learn how city government works. The six-week summer class consists of job interview skills, work ethic, self-advocacy and entrepreneurship. Fifty high-school students from 11 districts attended classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for six weeks during the summer.
Councilman Tommy Bryant also spoke to the group about how the government works as well as some history of the city and county.
