What if we lived in a world where people with disabilities were actually taught valuable skills during a program?
That’s happening all right here, in beautiful Batesville, Arkansas.
Myers-Davis Life Coaching has opened a vocational/life skills training center designed to provide training to individuals with developmental and/or behavioral disabilities in life skills, job skill development, and community transition services. The goal of the training center is to assist adults with disabilities to achieve maximum independence and productivity. Training will be provided on life skills, vocational/job skills, independent living skills including community integration, self-advocacy, job exploration, work readiness, and work simulations. Education methods include classes, guest speakers, job simulations, and eventually prospective employment provided for which individuals will be paid.
Topics for training may include any of the following:

- Resource and Medication Management
- Self-care
- Household Maintenance
- Budgeting/Money Management
- Health
- Wellness
- Nutrition
- Socialization
- Community Integration
A Day in the Center
Our Skills Training Center is located in our 1st floor suite of our main office located at 1141 E. Main St. Suite 102, Batesville, AR 72501. There will be 2 separate classes based on participant age.
