My name is David Ward, I am a member of the Pre-ETS teaching team. I am a lifelong resident of Independence County. My wife and I have two wonderful adult children and one sweet granddaughter. For the last 34 years, I have worked serving the children of Arkansas. My experience ranges from High School History/Psychology Teacher, Dean of Students, High School Principal, Alternative Education Teacher/Program Director and Behavioral Facilitator. In December 2025, I retired and thought that my journey with education was over. Then Myers-Davis found me, and I felt like I had come home. I have always believed that there are only two groups of people in the world, those that are part of the problem and those who are part of the solution. I believe that Myers-Davis gives me the chance to continue to be part of the solution.
