Transitions Speaker
Barry Hammers worked at Flowers Foods for more than 40 years. He started as a route salesman working through several levels of sales management before joining the company's corporate national sales team. In 1999, he became senior executive vice president and was responsible for key accounts. In 2005, Barry moved to Batesville to take the position of president of Flowers Baking Company. In 2017, he retired. He is very community and civic minded and spends much of his time volunteering as chairman of the March of Dimes and president of the Humane Society of Independence County. He also serves on the Republican Committee of Independence County and works as special guest speaker for Myers Davis Life Coaching.
