Ruth Fox
Greetings to you all! I am Ruth Fox. Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, I spent my youth moving all over Arkansas to little towns like Glenwood, Dierks, Daisy and Murfreesboro, and my young adult life moving across the United States to places like California, Texas, Colorado and Maryland. I’ve been back and settled in the Hot Springs area since 2012 and locked in to raise my three beautiful children, ages 14, 15 and 18, who are my world.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Teaching and a certification in Special Education. While I started my adult life in the medical field as a nursing assistant working with one of our most vulnerable populations, I continued my vocational journey with the Arkansas Choices Program, the Department of Human Services, and in the teaching field with Arkansas Connections Academy and the Malvern Middle School.
Through the grace of God, I was recruited to work with the fine people at Myers-Davis Life Coaching and Disability Services in a position where I ensure the safety and quality of life of one of our other vulnerable populations, those of the intellectually and developmentally disabled community. I am proud to be able to contribute positively on a daily basis to their quality of life right in their communities and in their homes. The work I’ve been doing is geared towards natural helpers and I’m proud to say that I’m good at what I do.
Aside from my work and home life, my days are filled with activities such as hiking, kayaking, camping, woodworking, gardening, and learning new skills like automotive repair and maintenance and studying subjects like homeopathic medicine. Truth be told, I’d rather be kayaking on some white water than repairing my vehicle, but all of this is enough to keep me meaningfully occupied, for sure!
Thank you for your time in reading a little about me. Please keep Myers Davis Life Coaching and Disability Services in mind if we can do anything to assist you or your loved ones!
